FIRST HAIRCUT

REMEMBER WHEN

"You cut my hair Momma?  I so excited."
"I not scared, I not scared" she repeated with the extreme concentration of a toddler as I gently sheared the hair across her forehead.

Today I trimmed away her baby curls. I wanted to cry ... she wanted to read a book and put on her princess shoes which probably won't fit tomorrow.

So glad I have managed to capture some of these everyday moments with more than just an iPhone shot. Sometimes the best concepts for a family shoot are the real moments you want to remember exactly as they happen. Have an idea you would like to capture?
