Photography

While much of my time is spent art directing and creating user experiences in digital and print media, I am also an accomplished and passionate photographer. I love it when roles collide and I can both shoot and design for my clients, although it is absolutely never a requirement. I am equally happy behind the lens as I am knee deep in designing the user experience with a talented team of creatives. My photography style relies primarily on natural light and I try hard to keep things natural, real and authentic. I don’t believe in perfection — I would rather find the beauty in the imperfections. If my client’s budget allows for art directors, videographers, stylists, hair & makeup, travel to beautiful locations I celebrate and if it doesn't then I multi-task, improvise and sometimes sweat a little as I smile & hustle. Most of my photography falls into the commercial/editorial category but I save some time for portrait sessions through out the year.
